Cacao de Colombia, very humbly, is committed to contributing to the achievement of the sustainable development objectives defined by the United Nations and has 5 lines of action that consolidate Gender Equality (SDG5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG8), Reduction of Inequality (SDG10), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG12), Justice and Peace (SDG15).
In addition, we are concentrating our efforts on 3 areas of development that we consider essential:
We intervene on several lines of economic development so that the added value is equitably distributed, guaranteeing a qualitative, ethical, stable and therefore sustainable sector.
Cacao de Colombia provides its team of experts in agroforestry and agroecology to the producing communities so that they can better value their land and production and also better understand their living context today and in the future.
The company intervenes on 3 guidelines so that farming communities can access the education, vocational training and sharing of knowledge and know-how they require.
Our intervention is therefore integral, it is not only a question of looking for and finding exceptional or high-potential cocoa beans, but also of establishing relationships of transparency and trust that give the possibility of working in the long term with its men, and mainly with its women and children who represent the sector of tomorrow and who are the very driving force behind sustainable development.
